Anime Tokyo Station Summer Festival 2025

This summer, immerse yourself in the exciting world of anime at the "Anime Tokyo Station Summer Festival"! Organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Animation Association, Anime Tokyo Station has become a captivating hub that celebrates the charm of Japanese animation, drawing in over 196,509 visitors from around the globe as of July 21, 2025.

One of the highlights of this festival is the special summer program for the "Together Anime Viewing" sessions, taking place on August 13 (Wednesday) and August 14 (Thursday). On August 14, visitors can enjoy non-stop anime screenings at the interactive vision space on the first floor of Anime Tokyo Station!

Special Program Details

Day 1: August 13, 2025 - Together Anime Viewing Session 7

• - Time: 15:30 - 16:30 (Daytime) & 17:00 - 18:00 (Evening)
• - Venue: In front of the interactive vision, Anime Tokyo Station (2-25-5 Minami Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo)
• - Featured Anime: "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman" Episode 1: “Gatchaman vs. Turtle King” © Tatsunoko Production

Synopsis: A secret organization formed by the International Science and Technology Agency under Dr. Nanbu consists of five youths—Ken the Eagle, Joe the Condor, Jun the Swan, Jinpei the Swallow, and Ryuu the Owl—who fight against the evil organization Galactor, aiming for world domination.

Day 2: August 14, 2025 - Together Anime Viewing Session 8

- 12:00 - 13:30 (Daytime) - Two episodes screening & quiz event
- 14:00 - 15:00 (TBD) - Retrospective screening of "Anime Tokyo Station Tanabata Festival"
- 16:30 - 18:00 (Evening) - Two episodes screening & quiz event

Synopsis: A high school detective, Shinichi Kudo, becomes embroiled in a murder case during a date with his girlfriend, Ran Mouri, at an amusement park. After using his exceptional deductive skills to solve the case, he encounters black-clad men involved in a crime—a confrontation that leaves him poisoned and transformed into a child, adopting the name Conan Edogawa.
