XCMG Machinery, a leader in the Asian construction equipment sector, has set its sights firmly on enhancing its presence in the European market. Recently, the company took significant steps by launching operations in both France and Poland, which are pivotal to its expansion plans.

Establishment of Advanced Facilities

On April 13, 2025, XCMG-Europa Sp. z o.o. marked a significant milestone in Kompin, Poland, with the groundbreaking for a cutting-edge assembly hall dedicated to the production of advanced horizontal directional drilling (HDD) rigs. This facility, which is designed to meet EU standards, underscores XCMG's commitment to localized manufacturing strategies that integrate Polish engineering expertise with its innovative manufacturing processes.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including former Polish President Bronisław Komorowski and Yang Dongsheng, President of XCMG Group, alongside local government representatives. This initiative aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and generate employment opportunities in the region. Michał Myczkowski, President of XCMG-Europa, articulated the importance of this venture, stating, "This investment not only reinforces Poland's position as a hub for high-quality machinery but also enhances our capacity to offer tailored solutions to our European customers."

The newly established plant will focus on trenchless drilling equipment, aligning with the growing European demand for sustainable infrastructure technologies. This move is part of a broader strategy to position Poland as a center of excellence in construction machinery manufacturing.

Expansion Initiatives in France

In parallel, XCMG has also made substantial strides in France through collaborations with its official distributor, Groupe LABROSSE. On April 14, 2025, they held a successful open house event to unveil plans for expanding their operational footprint via acquisitions and an expanded service network. LABROSSE has already secured partnerships with key local rental distributors such as Barthélémy Location and E2M, with an additional five partnerships nearing finalization.

The inauguration of a new headquarters for Groupe LABROSSE further solidifies the market presence of 12 localized XCMG models, which include earth-moving equipment and lifting platforms. This is complemented by the availability of technical experts directly on site to enhance customer service.

"Our European strategy prioritizes intelligent innovation, ecological transformation, and exceptional service," emphasized Yang Dongsheng during the event. He also announced an upcoming European training center and leasing subsidiary, which aim to equip clients with advanced skills and flexible financing options to ensure long-term operational efficiency.

Moreover, XCMG formalized the establishment of a subsidiary in France, which consists of a team built from a blend of French and Chinese manufacturers, overseeing each of the company's divisions. This represents a significant step in fostering better alignment between local market needs and global operational standards.

Comprehensive Support Infrastructure

In Germany, XCMG has made its mark by setting up a service, training, and spare parts storage center spread across 5,000 square meters. The combination of this localized production in Poland and bolstered French distribution channels showcases XCMG's dual focus on manufacturing excellence and customer-oriented services.

With six international research and development centers and operations in 193 countries, XCMG is integrating local talent and resources into its global framework, ensuring that its offerings resonate with diverse markets while promoting growth and sustainability. This strategic expansion not only enhances XCMG's competitive edge in the machinery sector but also positions it as a key player in the European construction landscape.
