SHINOBI: Vengeance Strike Free Demo Launch

SEGA has officially launched the free demo for its upcoming game, SHINOBI: Vengeance Strike, scheduled for release on August 29, 2025. This demo is available across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).

What to Expect from the SHINOBI Demo

The demo begins with a specially designed tutorial stage, “Oboro Village,” depicting the story of the protagonist, Joe Musashi, and his quest for vengeance. Players can expect more challenging foes and the chance to explore hidden routes, making for an exciting gameplay experience.

The demo introduces a revised shop system and game balance that enables players to test various techniques—far beyond what is available in the full version—allowing customization of Joe Musashi’s diverse fighting style with dynamic combos and special techniques.

Additionally, there's an arcade mode to track your scores. Players can continually challenge themselves to improve their skills and achieve high scores.

Note: The demo has different item placements and enemy configurations compared to the full game. Players can enjoy repeated gameplay, but saved data from the demo cannot be transferred to the full version.

Live Gameplay by Nijisanji's Yasuki

Today at 9 PM, Kizuki Yashiro, a VTuber from Nijisanji, will host a live stream playing the demo. Joining this event will give fans an opportunity to experience the game’s allure while enjoying Kizuki’s commentary. Tune in to watch and learn about the game!
