Eric Carle Exhibition: A Journey into Imagination

The highly anticipated exhibition titled "Eric Carle: The Very Hungry Caterpillar Begins Here" opens on April 25 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Among the noteworthy attractions is the WE♡The Very Hungry Caterpillar quiz rally. This interactive event is a partnership with PLAY! PARK ERIC CARLE, an engaging children's park in Futako-Tamagawa that showcases the vibrant world created by Eric Carle. Families with children aged 12 and under can participate by collecting stamps at both venues. Completing the quiz and obtaining two stamps enables participants to receive a 50th-anniversary logo sticker of the Japanese version of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

Dialogue of Reading - A Book Club for Adults

The love for picture books is not limited to children. On May 9 and 10, participate in the Dialogue of Reading, a book club where adults can gather to read and discuss their favorite picture books. Each session will be facilitated by Yohei Kawakami from the Book Pick Orchestra and will be free of charge, although separate admission tickets for the exhibition are required.

Celebrate Eric Carle's Birthday!

Eric Carle’s birthday falls on June 25, and to celebrate, visitors who come to the exhibit during the designated period from June 23 to 26 will receive a special original postcard featuring the exhibition's main visual, available to the first 200 attendees each day.
