Accelerating Industrial Intelligence
On March 5, 2025, Huawei held the Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit at MWC Barcelona 2025. This event gathered global clients and partners to explore innovative practices in digital and intelligent industrial transformation. Huawei showcased an impressive 83 presentations focusing on the digital and intelligent transformation across 71 key scenarios. Additionally, Huawei, in collaboration with its partners, introduced 10 major solutions aimed at accelerating industrial intelligence across various sectors, including public service, education, finance, electric power, transportation, oil and gas, chemicals, and retail.
Key Paths to Accelerate Industrial Intelligence
In his keynote address, Leo Chen, Huawei's Corporate Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise Sales, emphasized four essential paths necessary for accelerating intelligent transformation across different industries:
1. Integrating Industry Scenarios: The importance of a deep integration of industry scenarios to build a targeted ICT architecture tailored for intelligent industrial transformation.
2. AI-Driven Infrastructure: Development of an advanced, AI-oriented ICT infrastructure to handle exponential AI loads effectively.
3. High-Performance AI Products: The creation of innovative AI products that are seamlessly integrated with open-source models, promoting a transition towards wide accessibility and practical usage across sectors like healthcare and education.
4. Skills Development: Targeted training of ICT professionals to focus on specific skill sets that align with industry needs.
Showcasing Global Innovation
Huawei's commitment to providing firsthand solutions is demonstrated through the presentation of 83 global showcases. These showcases are open to clients worldwide and serve as valuable references on their transformational journeys. Furthermore, Huawei is continuously enhancing its collaboration with partners across various industries to foster innovation. The 10 major solutions launched during the summit include: Inclusive Connectivity, Digital Village, Public Service Digitization, Robust Data Center Resilience, Smart Distribution 2.0, Intelligent Rail Stations, Smart Multi-Level Port Management, Central Processing Plants, Smart Chemical Solutions, and Smart Retail 2.0.
To support inclusive AI applications across all industries, Huawei introduced AI inference kits that support over 50 widely adopted large models, enabling customers to access and deploy AI applications more easily.
In conjunction with talent development, Huawei also introduced the Industry Elites in the ICT Classroom program, which is a premier talent support initiative designed for higher education institutions.
Commitment to Cooperative Success
During the event, Ciyong Zou, Deputy Director-General and Managing Director at UNIDO, highlighted the strength of multi-stakeholder collaboration demonstrated through the partnership between UNIDO and Huawei. He stated that technology must serve humanity. Mahmoud Bin Ahmed from Integrated Dawiyat described the necessity of digital infrastructure for effective energy services, while Miguel López-Valverde, Minister of Digitalization for the Community of Madrid, emphasized the importance of empowering citizens and businesses within the digitization process.

Huawei's exhibition space at MWC Barcelona covered 1,200 square meters, featuring three main themes: accelerating industrial intelligence, innovative ICT infrastructure, and collaborative success. Attendees were encouraged to witness the profound integration of digital and intelligent technologies within industries, alongside shared innovations by Huawei and its global partners.
