TOKYO MIX CURRY Opens Innovative Dual-Concept Restaurant in Otemachi

TOKYO MIX CURRY Unveils Unique Dual-Concept Dining in Otemachi

On July 1, 2026, FOODCODE, a food technology company based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, will open the "TOKYO MIX CURRY Otemachi Conference Center." This new dining establishment features a distinctive dual-concept structure that operates as a custom curry shop during the day and transforms into the company's first spice bar at night, branded as "TMC Spice Bar." By effectively utilizing the same physical space for both a lunch and dinner menu, the restaurant aims to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs.

A New Era for Dining

In the current food service landscape, rising operational costs due to labor shortages and soaring ingredient prices pose significant challenges. TOKYO MIX CURRY has previously established itself in the lunch market through a custom-designed system platform that emphasizes efficiency. This new venture will integrate proven mobile ordering techniques and operational systems from their lunch service into the evening offerings, thus providing excellent cost performance. For instance, patrons can enjoy customized curry starting from 540 yen (tax included: 594 yen) for lunch and tacos from 290 yen (tax included: 319 yen) for dinner. As a special opening promotion, highball drinks will be available for only 99 yen (tax included: 108 yen).

Lunchtime Delights: Customizable Curry Experience

The lunchtime menu features a selection of healthy spice curries devoid of flour, crafted from a base of tomatoes and onions enhanced with chicken and fish stock. Guests can choose from three primary curry types: "TMC Curry" starting at 540 yen, "Rich Dashi Curry" from 600 yen, and "European-style Curry" also starting at 600 yen. The customization extends to toppings, including marinated chicken and a variety of deep-fried vegetables, allowing customers to build their own perfect plate.

Operating hours for lunch are from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM (with the last order at 2:00 PM). To celebrate the opening, a complimentary Basque cheesecake will be offered to all patrons during this period.

Evening Delight: TMC Spice Bar – Snack Focused on Flavor

As the sun sets, the venue shifts to the TMC Spice Bar, emphasizing the expertise gained in spices during the day. With a concept of “serious snacks from a curry restaurant,” TMC Spice Bar will offer around 30 unique menu items. Signature dishes include “TMC Original Tacos ()” starting at 290 yen and “Forbidden Spicy Chicken” priced at 680 yen, with all pricing set to encourage casual visits after work. This flexible evening menu is distinct from the lunch offerings and aims to create an inviting atmosphere for friends to gather and enjoy delicious food. In celebration of the opening, highball and lemon sour drinks will also be available at the special price of 99 yen (tax included: 108 yen).

Dinner hours are from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (last food order at 9:00 PM, drinks at 9:30 PM).

Visionary Comments from CEO Ryosuke Nishiyama

Ryosuke Nishiyama, CEO, emphasized that the systems honed during lunch service can translate effectively to the evening format. “We aim to prove that using the same technology in one location can yield unmatched cost performance. We hope to create a space that encourages relaxation and camaraderie without the pressure of formality after a long workday.”
