Dr. Renuka Iyer's career is rooted in a profound dedication to oncology, currently serving as a Professor of Oncology at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, a key member institution of NCCN. Additionally, she holds several key positions at Roswell Park, including Section Chief of Gastrointestinal Oncology and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs. Her academic credentials are bolstered by her role at Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo, where she is also a Professor of Medicine.

Having completed her fellowship in medical oncology at Roswell Park, Dr. Iyer's medical education began at Grant Medical College in Mumbai. She further honed her expertise with a residency at Cornell University School of Medicine. Dr. Iyer is board certified in both internal medicine and oncology, a recognition of her extensive knowledge and skill in the domain.
