Oyashiru Inc. Joins ASAC's 20th Seed Program

Oyashiru Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, and led by President Isamu Takeda, is excited to announce its selection for the 20th Seed Program at the Aoyama Startup Acceleration Center (ASAC), operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The program is scheduled to commence on June 17, 2025, providing a crucial opportunity for the company’s growth and social impact.

About the ASAC Seed Program

The Aoyama Startup Acceleration Center (ASAC) aims to support entrepreneurs tackling issues related to Tokyo's policy challenges, as well as areas where venture capitalists may hesitate to invest. The facility was designed for early-stage startups who aspire to grow into leading companies. Over the course of five months, participants engage in various program activities, networking with experienced entrepreneurs, and receiving mentorship to refine their business plans.

The ultimate goal is to facilitate investment from venture capital firms and partnerships with large corporations. In the latest round, out of 191 total applicants, 12 companies, including Oyashiru, were chosen for the program.

Oyashiru's Mission: Fostering Regret-Free Parent-Child Relationships

At Oyashiru, our main service, the “Oyashiru Interview,” empowers children aged 30 to 50 to listen to their parents' life stories through trained interviewers, capturing these narratives in articles and interview videos. This service transcends the mere act of preserving memories and aims to promote the sharing of care and medical preferences among family members through Advance Care Planning (ACP). Our vision is to create a society where parent-child relationships are free from regrets about communication.

Goals During the ASAC Program

At ASAC, Oyashiru plans to focus on three strategic areas:

1. Enhancing Customer Acquisition Strategies: We will refine our strategies to involve collaboration with local governments and businesses, aiming to boost our service recognition and user base through effective marketing.

2. Formulating a Growth Scenario for the Future: We are developing long-term business strategies while establishing a supportive hiring and capital policy to ensure sustained growth over the next 5 to 10 years.

3. Improving Our Existing Business Model: We aim to enhance the profitability of our current services and establish a sustainable growth model.
