Thus, herbicide programs proved effective when harmoniously integrated with early planting schedules.

Challenges in Weed Management


Despite the upsides of earlier planting, the challenges surrounding weed management surfaced as a caveat. The researchers noticed that early-planted fields dealt with greater weed densities at the time of post-emergence herbicide applications.
