Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics Unveil Energy Storage Solutions at The Smarter E Europe 2026

Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics at The Smarter E Europe 2026

The Smarter E Europe 2026 forum has kicked off in Munich, Germany, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in energy management. Among the exhibitors, CLOU Electronics has joined hands with Midea Energy at their shared booth to highlight comprehensive energy storage solutions designed for the European market.

Innovative Energy Storage Solutions

CLOU launched the
Aqua-C3.0 Ultra, a state-of-the-art energy storage system offering a capacity of 5.154 MWh housed in a compact 10-foot container, weighing less than 39 tons. This innovative product surpasses traditional 20-foot container systems in providing an optimal balance of capacity, size, and weight, leading to significantly reduced logistics costs and requiring less installation space.

For commercial and industrial applications, CLOU showcased the Aqua-E261. This system is particularly tailored for large European businesses, featuring high safety, a favorable return on investment, and straightforward operational and maintenance characteristics. Utilizing 314 Ah battery cells, each unit has a total capacity of 261 kWh, maintaining a temperature variation of ≤2.5 °C across all cells due to advanced cooling features.

Integrated Solutions for Data Centers

Midea Energy presented a groundbreaking integrated energy solution targeted at AI data centers. This solution merges Midea's expertise in cooling, smart manufacturing, and global supply chains with CLOU's capabilities in power electronics and energy storage. The integrated architecture combines energy storage systems, HVDC, SST, BBU, and Midea's liquid-cooled magnetic centrifugal chillers to provide a robust energy framework for next-generation supercomputing centers.

This collaborative venture aims to tackle the rising demand for uniformity in high-capacity battery cell arrangements, addressing the energy discrepancies that can affect performance. CLOU also published a White Paper on Cell-Level DC-DC Energy Transfer Technology, proposing solutions to maintain consistency among battery elements, which bolsters regular profits by approximately 4% over the product's life cycle.

Expanding European Presence

The exhibition at The Smarter E Europe 2026 is pivotal for Midea Energy's official overseas strategy. CLOU has executed large-scale energy storage projects across numerous European nations, including Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and North Macedonia, managing over 50 energy storage sites in commercial and industrial sectors throughout Europe, notably in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Looking ahead, CLOU aims to leverage Midea Group's extensive resources and global supply chain capabilities to maintain its status as a key partner in Europe's transition to sustainable energy. With a commitment to innovation and collaboration, both companies are poised to lead advancements in energy storage technology, addressing the evolving needs of the European market while contributing to a more sustainable future for the planet.
