Behzad Malek-Madani


Behzad Malek-Madani joins Goulston & Storrs as a Counsel in the Real Estate Group. With over 11 years of experience, Behzad has a strong background in real estate law, having previously worked at a boutique firm specializing in commercial real estate in New York City. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of real estate and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, fund investments, and real estate financing. He is known for assisting clients in various sectors, including retail, office, and industrial projects across the United States and internationally. Behzad earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2013 and holds a Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Brown University.

Rae Berger


Rae Berger brings her expertise in litigation from a prominent global Am Law 50 law firm. During her tenure, she represented Fortune 500 and publicly traded corporations in complex commercial and securities litigation. Rae's legal prowess extends to shareholder disputes and various commercial litigation matters. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019 and holds a Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, she served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Dora L. Irizarry, enhancing her practical legal experience.

Steven Ficurilli


Steven Ficurilli, now a member of the Real Estate Group, has transitioned from another global Am Law 200 firm where he represented real estate owners and developers in diverse transactions. Steven focuses on commercial leases, acquisitions, debt financing, and other related matters. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law in 2022 and completed his Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Alison Freudman


Alison Freudman joins the Corporate Group and previously advised clients in various financing transactions at a global Am Law 50 firm. Her work includes guiding corporate borrowers and financial institutions through complex financing requirements related to both domestic and international deals. Alison earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2021 and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in 2016.
