Sungrow Launches Largest Training Center in Europe

Sungrow, a prominent player in the field of renewable energy technology, has inaugurated its largest training facility in Europe located in Oberschleißheim, near Munich. This state-of-the-art center, known as the Sungrow Service Competency Center, aims to elevate the skills and expertise of both employees and partners involved in energy projects.

A Step Towards Energy Transition

The unveiling of this center is part of Sungrow's strategic initiative to drive the energy transition in Central and Northern Europe. According to Moritz Rolf, the Vice President of Sungrow Europe, the training provided here will ensure that personnel stay informed about the latest developments and techniques in the fast-evolving energy industry. “By providing cutting-edge training and demonstrating the latest technology trends, we equip our employees with the necessary skills to thrive in this dynamic sector,” he commented.

The center will cater to a varied range of projects, from residential setups to large-scale utilities, bolstering commissioning and operational management. It’s designed to provide local solutions that resonate with regional needs, all under the guiding principle of “Clean power for all.”

Facilities and Training Opportunities

Spanning 5,000 square meters, the facility houses a maintenance center, a well-equipped warehouse, and a training area of 150 square meters. Sungrow plans to conduct regular training sessions focusing on the practical applications of renewable energy solutions. These sessions will be available both online and in person, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in skill development.

Training programs will be tailored specifically to the targeted markets and audience segments, encompassing systematic foundation training and certification options. Additionally, the facility includes a parking area equipped with multiple Sungrow electric vehicle charging stations.
