Discover the Elegance of Jaeger-LeCoultre at Isetan Shinjuku

Jaeger-LeCoultre's '1931 POLO CLUB' Exhibition

From July 2nd to July 8th, 2023, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the '1931 POLO CLUB' at Isetan Shinjuku, offering an exclusive showcase that celebrates the elegance and historical significance of its iconic Reverso watch. The event space, located on the first floor of Isetan, embodies the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.

On the opening day, popular actor and artist Yuto Sano graced the event, showcasing the much-anticipated Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds timepiece. His presence not only highlighted the traditional elegance of Jaeger-LeCoultre but also fostered a deeper connection with the brand's refined aesthetic. This watch, elegantly crafted with a gold-toned grained dial, exemplifies modern sophistication and pays homage to the Art Deco style.

The exhibition draws inspiration from the concepts revealed at the 2025 Watches & Wonders, aiming to explore the origins and artistry of the Reverso from multiple perspectives. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness a rare collection of timepieces, including exclusive models debuting for the first time in Japan.

Notable Highlights of the Exhibition:

  • - Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater: A grand complication with only 30 pieces worldwide.
  • - Reverso Tribute Nonantième Enamel: A poetic expression of Grand Feu enamel craftsmanship.
  • - Reverso Hybris Artistica Caliber 179: A rare model that exemplifies the pinnacle of mechanism and decoration.

During the exhibition, daily demonstrations featuring skilled watchmakers and certified engravers will offer an up-close look at the intricate art of horology. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for enthusiasts to appreciate the fine details and craftsmanship that goes into creating these exquisite pieces.

‘1931 POLO CLUB’ returns to the roots of the Reverso, which first emerged in 1931. The exhibition honors the aesthetic journey and innovation of this timepiece as it commemorates a century since the influential 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which played a significant role in promoting Art Deco globally. The Reverso’s design, merging geometrical beauty and functionality, truly embodies the spirit of the era.

The exhibition is open until July 8, 2023, from 10 AM to 8 PM, at Isetan Shinjuku’s first-floor 'The Stage'. For inquiries, contact Jaeger-LeCoultre at 0120-79-1833. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to interact directly with a hallmark of luxury and innovation in watchmaking.
