Aoba-BBT Launches Japan-Taiwan International Co-Creation Program
In an exciting new initiative, Aoba-BBT's Attackers Business School (ABS) is set to host the first-ever Japan-Taiwan International Co-Creation Program. This innovative program, developed in partnership with CTBC Business School from Taiwan, will take place from May 14 to May 16, 2026, at a venue in Tokyo. The event aims to assemble mixed teams of Japanese and Taiwanese professionals who will collaborate on real-world business challenges faced by participating companies.
Program Overview
Aoba-BBT will spearhead the planning and administration of the program from the Japanese side, while CTBC will facilitate the participation of Taiwanese students and co-design the program framework. Approximately 19 participants from Taiwan and a maximum of 10 from Japan will engage in a hands-on project that involves a company visit to Hatch-Work Inc., a graduate enterprise from ABS that is listed on the Tokyo Growth Market under the ticker code 148A. This collaboration will enable participants to conduct field research, analyze challenges, and develop business proposals over the course of three intensive days.
Objectives of the Program
This venture marks a significant development for ABS, which was founded by renowned entrepreneur Kenichi Ohmae and has historically nurtured many successful entrepreneurs and leaders. The Japan-Taiwan program is designed as an inaugural step to extend the educational resources of ABS into the sphere of international collaboration.
Through the ABS alumni network, participants will have the opportunity to engage with a company established by alumnus Hiroshi Otake, providing diverse business proposals that may offer new insights for the organization. For ABS, strengthening relationships with graduates and enhancing community value would lead to significant benefits, fostering an ecosystem that connects education with practical application.
Business Significance for Aoba-BBT
A key aim of the program is to build an international partnership model within the education sector. CTBC’s practical programs utilize Aoba-BBT’s online content as educational material, indicating a pre-existing educational partnership. As this program progresses, the collaboration will deepen from simply content sharing to joint program development, establishing a foundation for business expansion within the Asian MBA market.
By selecting Hatch-Work as a site visit, the ABS graduate community serves as a practical arena for the educational program. This model of education feeding back into entrepreneurship and returning knowledge back to education strengthens ABS's uniqueness and can positively influence student recruitment and corporate training initiatives.
Looking ahead, Aoba-BBT envisions ongoing collaborative programs between Japan and Taiwan, along with the potential to extend partnerships with other educational institutions across Asia, positioning this inaugural event as a stepping stone towards continuous development and enhancement of Aoba-BBT’s international educational network and brand reputation.

Unique Features of the Program
This program adopts a practical approach, allowing teams to tackle real issues facing a listed company. The host company, Hatch-Work Inc., founded by alumnus Hiroshi Otake, operates in the growing digital transformation market for monthly parking services and has a range of genuine management challenges for the teams to address. Given that many participants are experienced professionals, their proposals will carry practical relevance, thus providing the host company with fresh perspectives to reassess its business challenges amid insights from both Taiwanese and Japanese viewpoints.
To foster a sense of unity among participants, a unique onboarding ceremony will be held on the first day, simulating an employment induction at a fictitious enterprise set up for educational purposes. This will help to lower psychological barriers and promote instant teamwork, allowing participants to work cohesively. Furthermore, teams will be supported by interpreters from CTBC to mitigate any language barriers throughout the program.
