A New Adventure Awaits in Borderlands 4

The gaming community is buzzing with excitement following the launch of the first story pack for "Borderlands 4" titled "Mad Ellie and the Cursed Vault." Developed by 2K and Gearbox Software, this paid DLC brings a range of exciting new features, including a fresh Vault Hunter character named C4SH, alongside new areas, missions, enemies, and loot.

Major Updates and Features

In conjunction with the release of Story Pack 1, a significant update has been rolled out for all players. This update, currently only available in English with Japanese support expected soon, allows for progression sharing between characters. The level cap for Vault Hunters has also been raised from 50 to 60, enabling players to share progress, SDU tokens, hover drives, and customization items across new Vault Hunters created under the same account, including C4SH.

In a tale of cosmic evil threatening Kairos, players are invited to join forces with Ellie, the daughter of Moxxi and a daring mechanic, to confront challenges that lie ahead. The region is filled with hostile alien structures and dark secrets to explore. Guided by the eccentric Mancubus Bloodtooth, players will traverse the icy terrain littered with the remains of derelict spaceships, setting the stage for a gripping adventure.

Players who own Story Pack 1 can leap directly into the action with a level 13 new Vault Hunter, experiencing all that "Mad Ellie and the Cursed Vault" has to offer while sharing the progression of other characters.

Introducing C4SH, the New Rogue Vault Hunter

Players can also play as C4SH, the first of two planned new Vault Hunters. This rogue character, equipped with a magical deck obtained through high-stakes gambling, is a casino bot with newfound powers. C4SH can be utilized throughout all areas of "Borderlands 4" as well as its DLCs, providing players with thrilling new gameplay opportunities.
