Workshop for Building a Self-Driven Strong Organization
Ourly Inc., based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is set to launch an innovative workshop designed to help organizations navigate their challenges and achieve a remarkable recovery. Starting on February 3, 2026, this workshop aims to equip participants with actionable insights to elevate employee engagement and foster a resilient organizational culture.
Why the Need for External Knowledge and Internal Application Now?
Many companies are currently grappling with significant challenges such as the early turnover of the Gen Z workforce and declining motivation among mid-level employees. These issues have created a sense of alarm, with organizations feeling as though they are in a “boiled frog” state—gradually declining without realizing it. Early intervention is essential to reverse this trend and initiate positive transformation.
To address these challenges, Ourly is on a mission to “increase the number of proactive people creating organizations.” Drawing on the expertise of Yasuto Tanaka, a renowned figure who has successfully implemented organizational change in both sports and business, the workshop will feature free video content that encapsulates his insights.
The Workshop Structure: Flipped Learning
The workshop will employ a Flipped Learning style, where participants will be expected to watch the provided videos in advance. This approach allows for maximum engagement during the actual sessions as participants can focus on applying the theories to their company's specific challenges rather than listening to a lecture.
Participants can look forward to three main benefits:
1.
From Understanding to Action: By entering the workshop with prior knowledge from the videos, participants can maximize their time on actionable planning and implementation relevant to their organizations.
2.
Learning from Practical Insights: Drawing on Tanaka's practical experience, participants will refine their understanding of how to adapt theoretical frameworks to their unique organizational crises.
3.
Peer Discussions for Objective Reflection: Engaging with other leaders facing similar challenges will provide valuable perspectives, helping participants validate their strategies while uncovering the root causes of their organizational issues.
Common Theme for the Workshops: Creating a Self-Driven Strong Organization
The workshops will focus on the following themes:
1.
Session One - February 3, 2026: Exploring the root causes of low employee engagement.
Video base: Effective Methods to Enhance Engagement
2.
Session Two - Insights for Leadership: How management styles can inadvertently create dependency in employees.
Video base: Dangers of Poor Direction
3.
