KDDI and FULMA Celebrate Young Creativity in Video Contest
On March 28, 2026, KDDI Corporation and FULMA Corporation held an inspiring event at KDDI's brand experience facility, "GINZA 456 Created by KDDI," to honor the finalists of the nationwide video contest for elementary and middle school students. The event showcased exceptional works created by young talents and featured special talks from distinguished guests: Kanta, a member of the popular YouTube duo Mizutamari Bond, and renowned animator Yuichi Ito.
The FULMA Creator Awards: Nurturing Future Creators
The FULMA Creator Awards aim to discover and cultivate future creators among elementary and middle school students, linking their talent with society. The final judging session took place at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Odaiba, Tokyo, on November 15, 2025, where ten finalists presented their captivating videos. The contest continues to support young participants in refining their skills.

About the Guests
Kanta - YouTube Creator
Kanta, who gained fame as part of the YouTube channel Mizutamari Bond, has garnered over 4 million subscribers since its launch in 2015. The channel is well-known for unique and exciting content aimed at a broad audience. Kanta's individual YouTube endeavors, particularly his high-quality trick videos on “Kanta's Great Adventure,” have also earned him acclaim internationally. Beyond YouTube, he utilizes his skills as a filmmaker, working under his real name, Hirota Sato.
Yuichi Ito - Animation Artist
As the head of I.TOON Ltd., Yuichi Ito creates stunning animation using various techniques, particularly clay. His notable works include the clay animation series "Nyakki!" and promotional animations for brands like Mister Donut and Utada Hikaru. With several awards for his original short film "HARBOR TALE" across 26 countries, Ito also serves as a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, directing the animation department.

The event kicked off with a screening of the top 10 finalists’ videos, each showcasing the children’s innovative thinking and artistic expressions. The audience enjoyed the unique visions presented on a large screen, paving the way for future filmmakers.
