Huasun Surpasses 10 GW in Global HJT Solar Shipments, A Milestone for Sustainable Energy

Huasun Hits 10 GW in Global HJT Solar Shipments

Huasun Energy continues to make waves in the solar energy sector, having recently surpassed a groundbreaking milestone of 10 GW in cumulative shipments for its heterojunction (HJT) solar technology. This achievement, reported as of December 2024, not only highlights Huasun's role as a prominent player but also emphasizes the increasing adoption of HJT technology worldwide.

In 2024 alone, Huasun made remarkable strides, shipping more than 6 GW of solar products, with over 1 GW dispatched in just December. This trend of accelerated growth demonstrates the company's commitment to innovation and meeting the surging demand for clean energy. Xiaohua (Jimmy) Xu, the CEO of Huasun, remarked, "Surpassing 10 GW is a testament to our strategic vision and technological excellence. We are poised to quickly reach the next 10 GW milestone, harnessing the power of heterojunction to accelerate photovoltaic energy's journey toward becoming the leading power source."

Founded in 2020, Huasun has positioned itself as a pioneering force in HJT technology, driving advancements in dual-sided and microcrystalline solar cells, HBC (Heterojunction with Back Contact) structures, copper busbars, and tandem HJT-perovskite technologies. With over 300 patents pending, Huasun is continually pushing the boundaries of photovoltaic efficiency and industrial progress. The company boasts an integrated R&D and manufacturing approach, achieving an impressive average conversion efficiency of over 26% for its mass-produced HJT solar cells.

The robust manufacturing capabilities of Huasun have played a crucial role in reaching this significant benchmark. By December 31, 2024, the company's smart 20 GW monocrystalline HJT factory in Yinchuan, China, produced its first silicon ingot, marking a complete integration of the HJT supply chain—from ingot and wafer production to cell and module manufacturing. Supported by five production bases located in Xuancheng, Dali, Hefei, Wuxi, and Yinchuan, Huasun is steadily advancing the large-scale application of HJT technology.

In 2024, Huasun secured over 10 GW in tenders from major Chinese state-owned enterprises, including China Huaneng, China Green Development, and PowerChina. The company's products are now energizing solar projects across more than 60 countries and regions, contributing to a global transition toward a sustainable, low-carbon future.

Huasun Energy continues to showcase its dedication to leadership in the solar energy landscape as it looks forward to shaping the future of renewable energy. To stay updated on Huasun’s journey, visit their official website or follow them on LinkedIn under "Huasun HJT."
