Discover Kanda's Curry Wonderland: The 2026 Stamp Rally

Known as Japan's largest curry destination, Kanda will host the 13th annual "Kanda Curry Street Walking Stamp Rally 2026," from August 1 to December 20, 2026. This event is organized by the Kanda Curry Street Revitalization Committee and aims to energize the local community by showcasing an extensive range of curry offerings.

With over 400 curry restaurants in the area, the Stamp Rally will provide a fantastic opportunity for curry enthusiasts and casual fans alike to taste the best dishes from both established favorites and trendy newcomers. By visiting participating restaurants, attendees will not only enjoy delicious meals but also collect stamps that encourage them to explore the neighborhood and its diverse culinary landscape.

Participation and Exciting Rewards

Participants can pick up a free official guidebook, the "Kanda Curry Street Official Guidebook 2026," in late July, which will include a stamp sheet. The guidebook will have 85,000 copies available. Visitors can collect stamps either via a physical stamp sheet or a virtual stamp rally on their smartphones.

This year marks a record participation of 152 curry shops, offering an array of curry types. In addition to the curry outlets, stamp points will be located across Kanda, including famous bookstores, major JR and Tokyo Metro stations, and the Marché Écute shopping facilities. Collecting stamps from the designated points is essential to achieving the Kanda Curry Meister Award, which provides different perks based on the number of stamps collected.

Exclusive Collaborations and Limited-time Offers

This year's event will also feature a collaboration with the beloved character Rilakkuma, as well as commemorations for the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series. Visitors who enjoy curry at participating restaurants will receive special Ultraman-themed gifts, with 32 unique items available (frontline attendees only). After collecting stamps from ten restaurants, participants can claim a Rilakkuma-designed Kanda Curry Buddy Card. The Kanda Curry Meister Award, which recognizes top stamp collectors, includes a specially designed card featuring Rilakkuma as well.

Additionally, throughout the event, fans can purchase original collaboration merchandise from the Kanda Curry Grand Prix and Ultraman series at various retail locations in Jimbocho.
