Prepare to embark on a captivating journey in the world of theatre as 'THE MOST DISTANT DAY FROM YOU' is set to take the stage from July 7 to 8, 2025, at the prestigious Sakuraho Hall, Shibuya Cultural Center, located at 23-21 Sakurakaicho, Shibuya, Tokyo. Presented by the renowned company, Nanajuhachi, led by the dynamic Shintaro Akiyama, this production combines the art of storytelling through reading, live instrumental performances, and traditional kyogen—a form of Japanese comedic theater.

Set in a world where language has disappeared after a devastating World War III, this unique fantasy unfolds the adventure of a young man navigating through this profound silence. The performance features an impressive ensemble cast, bringing together the exquisite talents of prominent actors and musicians, ensuring that the narrative's emotional depth is beautifully enhanced through their artistry.

Among the stars is Daichi Miyata, a celebrated cellist who gained international fame after winning the prestigious Rostropovich International Cello Competition in 2009. Known for receiving accolades from esteemed conductor Seiji Ozawa, Miyata's exceptional performance is expected to add a lush texture to the live musical accompaniment alongside the piano played by the talented Mami Nishio, another acclaimed artist in her own right.

Adding to the mix is Tetsuya Bessho, who has made a significant mark in film, television, stage, and radio in both Japan and the U.S. His journey began with the Hollywood debut in 'Crisis 2050'. Making his mark in the performing arts, he has since showcased his diverse skills across various media platforms. The cast will also include Mankatsu Nomura, a master of kyogen, alongside his brothers Kenzosuke and Manosuke Nomura, who will bring traditional comedic elements to the show, enhancing the fantasy narrative.

Notable contemporary talents such as RIKU from THE RAMPAGE and Akari Nibu, who is known for her contributions to the Hinatazaka46 group and upcoming theater productions, will grace the stage as well. Tuka Hasu, a former Takarazuka Revue star, who has transitioned to performing arts after her 2023 graduation, adds remarkable depth with her theatrical experience.
