In an exciting announcement, Sega has revealed a collaboration event between their renowned online mahjong game, the MJ series, and the beloved Nankoku Ikuzachi series. Kicking off on May 12, 2025, the Nankoku Ikuzachi CUP is positioned to be a thrilling competition for fans of both franchises.

Overview of the Nankoku Ikuzachi CUP

This event will be featured in both the app and arcade versions of the MJ series. Players will engage in two simultaneous tournament formats: East Wind Battle and Three Player Match, competing for the highest total points. To progress to the finals, participants must secure a specified score during the qualifiers. The player with the highest score during the final phase will be crowned the champion.
