The new UPS 2.0, utilizing battery cells with a high discharge rate of 8C, also incorporates emergency backup capabilities of up to 300 kVA for ten minutes. The Source-Grid-Load-Storage solution offers a competitive Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) at RMB 0.25/kWh, enabling data centers to save up to 79% on peak electricity costs. Yu Qingjiao, Secretary-General of the Zhongguancun New-Battery Technology Innovation Alliance, commended Desay Battery's new products for addressing critical safety concerns and setting standards in protection and lifecycle integration. He described the production launch as an industry model that aligns with national technology safety priorities while optimizing productivity.
