Envision Energy Achieves Global Wind Market Readiness with UL Solutions Certification

Envision Energy, a leading name in green technology, has announced its enhanced readiness for the global wind energy market during the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 event. The company is making significant strides by obtaining UL Solutions certifications for several of its wind turbine models and innovative tower technologies. This achievement highlights Envision's ongoing commitment to adapting its technologies and ensuring compliance with international energy system requirements.

Specifically, the Envision Energy EN-182/6.25MW wind turbine model has been officially certified in Spain for Grid Code Compliance, meeting the stringent standards set forth by NTS 2.1. This certification is a crucial technical prerequisite for deploying wind energy installations and executing projects within the European market. It confirms that the respective models of Envision's turbines are technically capable of fulfilling Spain’s Grid Code requirements, enhancing their readiness for operation and creating new opportunities for clients in project implementation and financing.

In addition to this, the Nabralift 3.MAX HH188 lattice tower, utilized with the Envision Energy EN-182/7.8MW intelligent wind turbine, has received UL Solutions type certification for the Australian market. This certified configuration features a hub height of 188 meters, providing increased flexibility in turbine configuration and site utilization. With this tower height, the solution effectively leverages more powerful wind resources and expands the potential for wind energy development across a wider range of sites in Australia. The certification also serves as independent confirmation of the comprehensive solution's compliance with essential technical and engineering requirements, fostering its adoption and potential large-scale deployment in the Australian market.

The certifications acquired by Envision Energy establish a technical foundation for extending certification to additional turbine models and variants. The company is set on continuing to expand its portfolio of certified products across various European countries and global markets. This initiative is aimed at ensuring compliance with different grid codes, technical standards, environmental conditions, and project specifications, all while allowing Envision to offer increasingly tailored and practically applicable solutions in the wind energy sector.

Yimin Lou, Envision Energy's Senior Vice President and Product Director, remarked on the evolving landscape of the wind energy market, stating, "As the wind energy markets develop, competition extends beyond the performance and cost of wind installations to encompass aspects like grid compatibility, structural design, certification, compliance with regulatory standards, and lifecycle project capabilities. These certifications reflect Envision's ability to translate state-of-the-art wind turbine technologies into reliable, practical solutions tailored to local conditions. By consistently expanding our certified product portfolio, we reinforce our capacity to deliver independently verified products and solutions that meet local demands, thereby contributing to the reliable and sustainable growth of wind energy across more markets."

Kai Grigutsch, head of the certification body DEWIOCC at UL Solutions, added, "For wind energy projects, technologies that can adapt to diverse energy system conditions, technical standards, and specific site requirements are increasingly necessary. Envision's achievements in Spain and Australia demonstrate consistent progress in adapting their wind turbine platforms to varying project conditions, supporting further enhancements in technical and engineering standards in the wind energy sector. We are pleased to support Envision in this endeavor and look forward to continuing our collaboration as the global transition to renewable energy accelerates."
