In an exciting announcement, Asahi Shimbun Co. has revealed that it will provide free live streaming of the regional brass band competitions from Kanto, Tokai, and Shikoku on its dedicated site, SuiSui Plus. Scheduled to take place from August to September 2026, these competitions are poised to showcase the exceptional talent and hard work of students and professionals alike. With just a click, enthusiasts across Japan can engage with the electrifying atmosphere of these prestigious events in real-time.

The Competitions Scheduled for Live Stream

The free live streaming events include:

81st Tokai Brass Band Competition

• - Middle School A: August 29 (Saturday)
• - High School A: August 30 (Sunday)

74th All Japan Brass Band Competition Shikoku Regional Tournament

• - Middle School B & High School B: August 21 (Friday)
• - Middle School A & University: August 22 (Saturday)
• - High School A & Workplace/General: August 23 (Sunday)

Note: August 21 will also feature a Primary School Band Festival.

32nd Nishi-Kanto Brass Band Competition

• - Middle School A: September 5 (Saturday)
• - High School A: September 6 (Sunday)
• - Middle School B: September 12 (Saturday)
• - Primary School & High School B: September 13 (Sunday)
• - University & Workplace/General: September 27 (Sunday)

Note: September 13 will also showcase a Primary School Band Festival.

66th Tokyo Brass Band Competition

• - High School & University: September 12 (Saturday)
• - Workplace/General & Middle School: September 13 (Sunday)

Note: September 12 will feature a Primary School Band Festival as well.

Supportive Campaign for Participating Schools

In tandem with the upcoming competitions, a campaign encouraging participants to share their enthusiasm will also be launched. Schools and organizations taking part in the competitions are invited to submit videos expressing their excitement in the lead-up to the events. Viewers can interact with these videos and show their support by liking their favorites on SuiSui Plus's official social media platforms including X, Instagram, and YouTube.

To further motivate participants, the organization that collects the most 'likes' in each competition will receive a special sticker from SuiSui Plus. Additionally, fans who support their chosen videos by liking them on X or Instagram will also stand a chance to win the same exclusive sticker through a lottery.
