Sustainable Preparedness: The TSUNAGARU BOUSAI POP UP Store at Takashimaya Shinjuku

In an effort to connect life and livelihood, Seishop, a select disaster preparedness shop operated by Seienterprise Co., Ltd. (Based in Chiyoda, Tokyo), is set to showcase at the upcoming ‘Tsunagaru Bousai Pop Up Store’ at Takashimaya Shinjuku from February 26 to March 3, 2026. This initiative emphasizes crucial disaster readiness, featuring unique products that bridge everyday use with emergency preparedness.

Engaging Events and Workshops

One of the highlights of the pop-up store will be a tasting event for Survival® Foods on March 1 (Sunday), immediately following a talk show by disaster prevention advisor Tomoya Takani, scheduled for 1 PM and 3 PM. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to sample ‘Survival® Foods,’ known for their impressive shelf life of up to 25 years. The featured product during this event will be Chicken Curry, which recently won the Grand Prize at the Japan Food Selection in January 2025. This curry stands out not only for its flavor but also for its family-friendly taste, combining nine types of spices without overwhelming spiciness, making it enjoyable for both young and old alike.

About Survival® Foods

Survival® Foods, produced by Seienterprise Co., Ltd., has been recognized as the only food in Japan that maintains a shelf life of 25 years. This remarkable achievement was fact-checked by a survey conducted by Tokyo Shoko Research in September 2025. This line of emergency food is designed to ensure that individuals and families can maintain not just survival but a sense of normalcy during challenging times. At the pop-up, customers can purchase the popular Deluxe Sets, including a large can (approximately 80 meals) priced at ¥69,552 and a small can (approximately 20 meals) for ¥28,512.
