XCMG and Sarens Form Strategic Partnership for Heavy Lifting Innovations

XCMG and Sarens Form Strategic Alliance in Heavy Lifting

In a significant move aimed at driving innovation within the heavy lifting industry, XCMG Machinery Co. Ltd., a global leader in construction machinery, has partnered with Sarens Group, an international giant in crane rental and heavy lifting. This strategic collaboration focuses on enhancing heavy lifting operations and delivering advanced cranes tailored for demanding projects.

As part of this partnership, XCMG successfully supplied Sarens with the first batch of their state-of-the-art five-axle 250-ton rough terrain cranes, designated as the XCA250G7-1E. This model, aimed at the European market, represents a substantial achievement in XCMG's commitment to excellence and innovation in machinery design. Sarens plans to incorporate these modern cranes into their fleet, boosting their capacity to handle complex lifting projects with enhanced precision, efficiency, and reliability.

The XCA250G7-1E crane is equipped with numerous intelligent technologies that set it apart in the market. One standout feature is its variable outrigger technology, which allows operators to select the extension length at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% for each boom based on site requirements. This capability efficiently addresses challenges such as limited space and complex terrain during lifting operations. Additionally, the crane features an automatic counterweight connection system that determines the angle and position of the counterweight, enabling a convenient one-button automatic attachment. This innovation simplifies operation and enhances safety and efficiency.

Moreover, the telescoping boom extension supports safe outreach with loads up to 40% of the rated lifting capacity, increasing the work range and efficiency by an estimated 30% to 50%, all while ensuring safe lifting practices.

Feedback from clients has already highlighted the benefits of the XCA250G7-1E. A UK customer praised the crane's intelligent one-operator control system that simplifies operations amid a labor shortage, complemented by a touch screen interface responsive like a smartphone and button feedback akin to high-end vehicles. A German client commended the crane's flawless construction, featuring a spacious, tech-enhanced cabin and functional aspects like an excellent bird's-eye view. Meanwhile, a Dutch customer pointed out the user-friendly design of the XCA series, noting that the panoramic windshield and recessed console improved visibility by over 40%.

Rafael Romao, Business Director of XCMG Europe, remarked, "This partnership with Sarens marks a new chapter in our mission to deliver best-in-class solutions for heavy lifting and construction projects. The XCA250G7-1E is proof of our commitment to providing innovative, high-performance machinery tailored for the global market."

The strategic collaboration between XCMG and Sarens paves the way for a long-term partnership. Both companies aim to leverage their complementary strengths to expand global reach, reduce costs, and foster innovation in heavy lifting operations. Jan L. Sarens, board member and CEO of Sarens, expressed, "We are proud to unite with XCMG, sharing a vision of innovation and excellence. This partnership enhances our capability to meet growing industry demands and strengthens our leadership in heavy lifting and technical transport."

Looking ahead, this alliance is set to transform the heavy lifting landscape, with XCMG and Sarens poised to set new standards for performance and reliability in the industry.
