LuckyFes’26: New Heights in Music Festival Auditions

In a remarkable showcase of talent, LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting has concluded the final audition round for its anticipated LuckyFes’26, which will take place from August 8 to 11, 2026, at the stunning Hitachi Seaside Park. After receiving a staggering 1,132 submissions, four outstanding groups have emerged to earn a spot on the coveted stage. The selected artists are ALL iN FAZE, Kushima El, Kafune, and Zero[Hz].

The Audition Journey

The final selection process was an exciting event that took place at Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR on June 7. Out of the 1,132 tracks submitted, the top 8 artists, including WHISPER OUT LOUD, ALL iN FAZE, Kafune, Kushima El, Zero[Hz], Hira Aoi, Night Roomers, and Hatata, were showcased. Each act impressed the judges with their strong performances, making the decision incredibly challenging.

The judging panel was composed of key figures in the music industry, including DJ DRAGON (producer of LuckyFes), Mana Mizumura (chief coordinator), Takashi Kamogawa (leader of the programming department at LuckyFM), Takuji Nobe from TuneCore Japan, and Tetsuya Karasuma from BARKS. Audience voting from 200 attendees was also integrated into the final selection, adding an engaging interactive element to the process.

The selected performers will take their places as the opening acts at LuckyFes’26. ALL iN FAZE will perform on August 8, followed by Kushima El on August 9, Kafune on August 10, and Zero[Hz] wrapping up on August 11. Specific details about performance times and stages will be announced soon.
