Cv International Awarded U.S. Air Force's NGAGE Contract for Aerospace Equipment
Cv International, commonly known as Cvi, recently announced that it has been awarded a prestigious role among a selective group of 24 companies for the U.S. Air Force’s Next Generation Aerospace Ground Equipment (NGAGE) contract. This is a $920 million endeavor aimed at modernizing and enhancing the lifecycle of aerospace ground equipment essential for various military aircraft operations.
The NGAGE contract is structured as a multiple-award IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity), intended to sustain the United States Air Force’s extensive range of aviation assets, including fighters, bombers, tankers, airlift aircraft, and unmanned systems. The ten-year contract will involve a comprehensive scope, focusing on the design, development, testing, integration, and implementation of next-generation equipment that supports vital aircraft launch, recovery, operations, and maintenance tasks.
In the wake of this award, Cvi's CEO, Dan Warden, expressed his excitement, highlighting the significance of this milestone for the company. Warden stated, “Being selected for NGAGE is a significant milestone for Cvi and an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force in modernizing the equipment behind the mission.” He emphasized the company's dedication to engineering smart solutions and developing practical equipment that aligns with the real-world demands faced by technicians.
Cv International’s commitment to innovation is reflected in its extensive array of capabilities, including maintenance platforms, nitrogen generation systems, and comprehensive engineering services. Their maintenance platforms, part of the Maintainer Series, deliver modular and mobile solutions designed for safe and efficient technician access to aircraft. Complementing this are Cvi's advanced nitrogen systems that bolster aircraft servicing both in hangars and on the flight line. Together, these solutions not only meet the existing needs of aircraft maintenance but also adapt to complex and demanding aerospace challenges.
The NGAGE contract arrives as Cvi expands its manufacturing capabilities through a new 70,000-square-foot facility located in Central Oregon. This significant investment will enhance their ability to produce complex aerospace ground equipment, ensuring high standards in fabrication, assembly, integration, and production. This new facility is poised to solidify Cvi's reputation as a leading provider of specialized aerospace solutions.
