A Powerful Start: Zoomlion Kicks Off 2025
Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., which trades under the stock number 1157.HK, has made a remarkable entrance into 2025 with its recent delivery event held on February 7. In a bold demonstration of its global leadership in construction machinery, the company launched over 10,000 units worth approximately 5.7 billion Yuan (around 782 million USD) from its headquarters located in Changsha, China.
Major Deliveries at the Launch Event
During this event, Zoomlion's lifting machinery division alone contributed more than 850 cranes valued at 1.8 billion Yuan (about 246.96 million USD). Among these, the highlight was the world's largest 4,000-ton all-terrain crane, a groundbreaking innovation that stands as the only model legally operable on public roads. This advanced crane is expected to play a crucial role in a major wind farm project in Shaanxi province soon.
On the other hand, the company's concrete machinery sector delivered over 1,200 units valued at 1 billion Yuan (about 137 million USD). This included the 73-meter lightweight concrete pump, which is the longest in its series worldwide, as well as the popular 'Lingguan' series of mixer trucks and various pump vehicles ranging from 38 to 50 meters in length. These machines will be utilized in significant projects across China and exported to global markets including Australia, Nigeria, Mexico, Brazil, and Peru.
Furthermore, Zoomlion shipped more than 1,300 earthmoving and mining machines valued at 900 million Yuan (about 123.48 million USD). Noteworthy amongst these is the 38-ton excavator and the world's first 100-ton large mining dump truck, the ZT160HEV, both dispatched to key mining sites across global markets.
The aerial work platform (AWP) division also played a significant role, delivering over 1,100 units valued at nearly 300 million Yuan (approximately 41.16 million USD), including straight booms, scissor lifts, and articulating booms.
Moreover, Zoomlion’s intelligent tower crane factory shipped tower cranes and construction elevators valued at 700 million Yuan (about 96.04 million USD), with around 70% of these destined for overseas markets, showcasing the robust international demand for its innovative products.
In addition to these impressive figures, Zoomlion's other divisions—including those focused on underground construction machinery, emergency equipment, new building materials, agricultural machinery, and various products from its industrial parks across China—have delivered numerous orders to both domestic and international customers.
This substantial launch not only illustrates Zoomlion's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction but also echoes its accelerated strategy for international growth. The company is aggressively expanding its market reach into North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing its status as a premier manufacturer of high-end construction equipment.
In conclusion, Zoomlion's early achievements in 2025 set a promising tone for the rest of the year. Their relentless pursuit of excellence coupled with advanced technology positions them to meet the demands of an evolving global market effectively. As they strive to maintain their competitive edge, we can surely expect more exciting developments from this industry titan in the near future.
