Collaboration Between Work Design Lab and Tokyo Innovation Base
Work Design Lab, a non-profit organization based in the Chuo ward of Tokyo, has recently signed a partnership agreement with the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), a dynamic hub established to support startups. This initiative aims to promote collaboration between public and private sectors, setting the stage for an entrepreneurial environment brimming with creativity and innovation.
Background and Purpose of the Collaboration
The Tokyo Innovation Base serves as a major gathering place for both domestic and international startups along with their supporters. It was designed to foster connections among diverse individuals and create innovative ideas and technologies that propel society forward. Work Design Lab has been actively involved in redesigning work environments and collaboration projects with local businesses and municipalities, seeking to enhance the innovative potential of TIB as a pivotal hub—or NODE—for startups and regional resources across Japan. Through this partnership, the goal is to help develop the overall ecosystem in Tokyo and nationwide, going beyond mere individual company benefits.

Leveraging its vast network and expertise, Work Design Lab plans to implement various initiatives to foster global startups from Tokyo and drive the realization of sustainable co-existence:
