Cultural Care Au Pair Offers $1,000 Discount for Educators Joining as Host Families
Cultural Care Au Pair Introduces New Educator Discount
Cultural Care Au Pair has made a significant move to support educators facing unique childcare challenges by launching a new $1,000 discount for educators who become first-time host families in their au pair program. This initiative acknowledges the demanding schedules that teachers, school staff, and their families endure, offering a flexible and reliable childcare option that adapts to their varied lifestyles.
The promotion is valid through September 30, 2026. To qualify for this special discount, at least one parent or guardian must be employed as an educator in preschool, K-12, or higher education. Families must match with an au pair for a minimum of 26 weeks between April 16 and September 30, 2026. Traditional childcare options often don't align with the academic calendars educators work around, making the au pair program a perfect fit that accommodates early mornings, after-school commitments, and everything in between.
Cultural Care Au Pair has been a longstanding advocate for ensuring diverse communities can access the au pair program, and this initiative expands upon their previous efforts, particularly with military families. Millions of educators dedicate their lives to shaping future generations, and this discount aims to make childcare more accessible for them.
Natalie Jordan, Senior Vice President at Cultural Care Au Pair, stated, "The au pair program is an ideal match for educator families—it’s flexible, affordable, and shares the same spirit of curiosity and cultural exchange that educators embody in their classrooms every day. We’re thrilled to help more educator families connect with this extraordinary program."
To take advantage of the Cultural Care educator discount, families must be new to the program, have at least one parent or guardian working as an educator in a recognized educational institution, and select "Education" as their occupation when creating their profile. The discount is not combinable with other discounts, except for the referral discount, and cannot be applied retroactively.
The essence of being an au pair is that it provides a unique opportunity for a young individual from another country to live with an American family while receiving a weekly stipend, room and board, and educational experiences in exchange for offering limited childcare support. For nearly 40 years, this program has acted as an informal bridge between cultures, fostering friendships and breaking down barriers that can enrich both the au pairs and their host families.
Cultural Care Au Pair proudly stands as the largest designated sponsor of the U.S. State Department-regulated au pair program, having successfully connected over 145,000 au pairs with American host families. Through such initiatives, they aim to create lasting cross-cultural connections and cherished memories that embody the spirit of international exchange. By supporting educator families with the intricacies of childcare, Cultural Care continues to thrive as a leader in the competitive landscape of au pair programs, ensuring all families can find dependable and adaptable childcare solutions that fit their unique needs.
