Introducing Europe's 50 Best Bars: A New Celebration of Top Drinking Spots

Europe's 50 Best Bars: A New Tradition Starts

In a landmark announcement, 50 Best has unveiled its plans to launch the first-ever list of Europe’s 50 Best Bars, a prestigious ranking poised to celebrate the finest drinking establishments across the continent. This initiative is intended to recognize the unique bar culture, creativity, and excellence that Europe has to offer. Nestled among the series of rankings under the 50 Best brand, which include prestigious lists like The World's 50 Best Bars and others dedicated to North America and Asia, this new addition aims to provide an invaluable guide to consumers seeking extraordinary bar experiences.

Emma Sleight, the content lead for Europe’s 50 Best Bars, expressed her enthusiasm for the project: "We are incredibly excited to launch our new bar awards program in Europe. Following the success of our regional lists in Asia and North America, we believe this new list will become a vital part of the bar scene across the continent, illuminating both established and exciting new destinations. Our aim is to create a list that showcases the most memorable bar experiences in the region, celebrating the passion, talent, and hard work that go into creating these exceptional venues."

Mark your calendars for this momentous event, which will culminate in a glamorous ceremony filled with celebrations, including the widely anticipated Bartenders' Feast happening on the eve of the official awards night. The much-awaited list of Europe’s 50 Best Bars will be revealed during a star-studded ceremony featuring red carpet arrivals and a lively drinks reception leading up to the countdown. Additionally, the event will highlight individual achievements through various special awards, culminating in the announcement of the prestigious title of Best Bar in Europe, sponsored by Perrier.

The first list will reflect the pinnacle of bar experiences as determined by a voting panel of 300 anonymous experts from various regions of Europe. Notably, members of the 50 Best organization do not vote, allowing for an impartial and collective decision-making process. Importantly, bars cannot nominate themselves, and sponsors have no influence over the results, ensuring that the ranking is a true representation of bar excellence in Europe.

The inaugural list is set to be unveiled during a grand award ceremony next year, with the date and location to be announced later. This endeavor marks a significant step in recognizing and celebrating the vibrant bar culture across Europe, inviting drink enthusiasts and connoisseurs to explore the diverse and unforgettable experiences awaiting them. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to toast the best bars in Europe and welcome a new chapter in the evolution of the drinking experience.
