Pirika’s Global Sales Support Initiative
In an exciting move to encourage international growth among environmental startups,
Pirika Corporation, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has unveiled a brand-new program known as the
Global Sales Support Initiative. This initiative is part of Tokyo's project to support diverse startups aimed at expanding into overseas markets and generating sales.
What the Initiative Offers
This program is designed to support selected environmental startups in their quest to establish a foothold in international markets. It provides a comprehensive package of assistance over a
13-month period, which includes:
1. Sales Support
From January 2026, startups can expect dedicated support in developing their overseas sales strategies. A specialized team will guide them through the entire process, from strategic planning to negotiations and securing contracts.
2. Financial Assistance
Pirika is offering financial support of up to
100 million yen. This funding can be utilized for various purposes, including overseas sales activities, travel expenses, and other cost-related issues associated with international business operations.
3. Mentoring by International Organizations
The program aims to equip startups with essential insights through mentoring sessions from representatives of reputable international organizations such as the
United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the
World Bank. Startups will benefit greatly from their real-world advice and expertise related to environmental initiatives and business practices.
4. Support for Overseas Exhibitions and Trade Missions
To facilitate international exposure, the initiative will assist startups in participating in overseas business events and trade fairs. This includes providing opportunities for direct business discussions with local partners and potential customers.

To give interested startups a comprehensive overview of this initiative, Pirika will host an
online information session on
November 5, 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00. The session will cover essential details about the program and explain the selection process for applicants.
