Christy Gessler Takes the Helm as 2025 Chairman of Texas REALTORS®

The Texas REALTORS® organization is excited to announce the appointment of Christy Gessler, from Freedom 512 Real Estate Group in Liberty Hill, as its 2025 Chairman of the Board. This prestigious role places Gessler at the forefront of advocating for the interests of over 150,000 REALTORS® across the state, leading them in their commitment to private property rights and the imperative of housing affordability for all Texans.

Gessler expressed her enthusiasm for the position, stating, "As Chairman, I'll be coordinating closely with REALTORS® across the state as we continue to advocate for our priorities, private property rights, and housing affordability for all Texans in 2025. I'm grateful for the tremendous honor and opportunity to represent Texas REALTORS®, and I look forward to utilizing my knowledge and experience to help the organization achieve its goals on behalf of our members."

Having held the REALTOR® title since 2005, Gessler has actively contributed to her community and professional colleagues. She previously held various committee positions at local, state, and national levels, showcasing her dedication to real estate and the REALTOR® community. Notably, Gessler served as the president of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® in 2012 and was honored as REALTOR® of the Year in 2010. Her involvement in the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors since 2019 underscores her commitment at a national level, along with her past roles as a trustee for TREPAC and RPAC.

Moreover, Gessler is passionate about professional development and mental health, advocating for personal growth initiatives. From 2009 to 2018, she was an active member of the Women's Council of REALTORS® Austin.
