This ambitious project will serve key areas including Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Asia, anticipated to account for about 15% of the projected 16GWh BESS capacity expected in the Asia-Pacific by 2025 according to BloombergNEF. Elementa: Trina's Innovative Battery Storage Solution

The large-scale battery system called Elementa is a fully integrated solution developed in-house by Trina Storage. It aims to optimize the management and control of power, surpassing industry standards in terms of performance, safety, and efficiency. Specific features of Elementa include:

- Use of proprietary LFP cells that ensure high safety levels and long lifespan
- Optimization from battery cells to PCS (Power Conversion System) and EMS (Energy Management System) to enhance effective annual energy output
- Reduction of auxiliary power consumption, minimizing energy loss by up to 30% compared to conventional systems
- A smart thermal management system achieving temperature control within ±2.5℃

Among the flagship projects is a massive 1.7GWh BESS implementation in South Asia aimed at stabilizing power associated with renewable energy installations, set to commence gradual commissioning by 2025. Another significant effort is underway with the Limestone Coast North Energy Park in Southern Australia, providing a 500MWh storage system to support stable power supply and renewable energy integration, expected to start construction in the first half of 2025 and be operational within the year.
