MobileX Appoints Raju Datla as CFO to Drive Growth and Innovation

MobileX, known for its highly customizable wireless services aimed at providing cost-efficient options for consumers, has officially appointed Raju Datla as its Chief Financial Officer. This announcement, made on October 2, 2026, signals a significant stride in the company's strategy as it seeks to solidify its operational framework amid rapid growth and expansion efforts.

Based in Irvine, California, MobileX is at a pivotal stage in its journey, and the addition of Datla to the executive team is set to enhance its financial capabilities as it prepares for an ambitious growth trajectory. With over 25 years in technology, finance, and business strategy, Datla brings a wealth of experience that aligns perfectly with MobileX's goals. Before joining MobileX, he served as CFO at RedCloud Holdings (NASDAQ RCT), where he was instrumental in managing finance and capital markets to facilitate global expansion initiatives.

Datla’s extensive background spans various sectors, particularly in telecommunications and digital infrastructure. Notable roles in his career include serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Tillman Fiber and as the co-founder and CFO of NxtGen Datacenter Cloud Technologies. His early career involved investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where he oversaw sizable transactions exceeding $12 billion in mergers, acquisitions, debt, and equity financing within the tech and media sectors.

In his new role at MobileX, Datla will work in close collaboration with Founder and CEO Peter Adderton, focusing on executing the company’s business plan, forging strategic financial partnerships, and ensuring that the financial strategy is in sync with long-term growth objectives. Adderton expressed enthusiasm about Datla's appointment, noting, “MobileX is at a point where we’re not just scaling what we’ve built; we’re expanding what the platform can become. Raju understands both the technology and the financial strategy needed to support that ambition.”

Datla himself conveyed excitement about joining MobileX at this critical juncture, acknowledging the company’s innovative approach to connectivity. He emphasized the need to execute a robust financial strategy to support the platform’s mission. He stated, “I look forward to working with Peter and the team to help execute and scale that vision across financial strategy, business operations, and strategic partnerships.”

His educational credentials further reinforce Datla’s suitability for this role. He holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, alongside a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from St. Mary's University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University.

As MobileX looks to the future, it aims to leverage artificial intelligence to create a unique service model that accurately predicts customer data needs, significantly reducing costs while ensuring reliable service. Founded by Peter Adderton, who is also known for launching both Boost Mobile and Digital Turbine, MobileX is poised to disrupt the mobile service industry with its customer-centric approach and innovative technology.

This appointment not only strengthens MobileX's leadership team but also showcases the company's commitment to enhancing its service offerings while ensuring a scalable and sustainable business strategy. As it navigates the competitive landscape of wireless services, the insights and oversight provided by Datla are expected to play a crucial role in the execution of MobileX’s ambitious plans.
