After nearly 50 years, Taiwan is set to host this prestigious event, which will take place from March 12 to March 15, 2026, at the beautiful Orient Golf Country Club in Taoyuan. In a remarkable partnership, the SoftBank Corp, a leading technology firm from Japan, has come on board as a special sponsor for the first time.

Previously, the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Tour (JLPGA) was home to golfing legends like Hisako Higuchi and Ai Miyazato, who have paved the way for the sport. Additionally, there is a unique connection with Taiwan's own Ai-yu Tu, a golf icon who has won 71 championships and was a 7-time money titleholder on the JLPGA Tour.
