Uomusume Announces Second Generation VTuber Auditions!

The VTuber project known as Uomusume, which features characters inspired by fish, has made waves in the entertainment industry. Operated by G-Plan Co., Ltd., located in Shinagawa, Tokyo, this vibrant project is launching its highly anticipated second generation auditions starting September 1, 2025.

Background Behind the Rapid Growth

Since the debut of its first generation members on May 24, 2025, Uomusume has captured the hearts of numerous fans. Within just three months, all members of the first generation reached approximately 30,000 subscribers on their YouTube channels, marking an impressive start. The project has garnered widespread attention not just in the fishing and aquatic industries, but also in the broader VTuber community. To maintain this momentum and expand their activities further, Uomusume has decided to recruit five new members for the second generation.

Audition Details

Application Period

• - From: September 1, 2025 (Monday)
• - To: September 30, 2025 (Tuesday)

Requirements for Applicants

• - Must be a female aged 18 or older who wishes to be active as a member of Uomusume
• - Should have a passion for fishing and cooking, as well as a fondness for fish
• - Availability for activities at least five days a week
• - Willingness to participate in live-action video shoots, including outdoor locations
• - Long-term commitment to the project
• - Must reside in Japan
• - Ability to terminate existing contracts with other agencies if applicable, before debuting
• - Proactive in self-promotion and willing to boost popularity

Preferred Qualifications

• - Previous experience in content creation (platform flexibility)
• - Physically healthy, with good stamina
• - Unique talents that can be showcased as part of Uomusume

Expected Debut

• - Planned for early summer 2026

Compensation

• - Fixed salary: ¥300,000 per month
• - Variable salary: Available
• - Creative support costs: ¥450,000 per month
• - PR support and guaranteed role as CV during potential game or anime adaptations
