Neutrik Showcases Latest Innovations at Sound Festa 2026
Neutrik, the renowned connector brand headquartered in the Principality of Liechtenstein, will be participating in the 30th Sound Festa held on July 1-2, 2026, at Grand Cube Osaka. As part of this event, Neutrik will display an extensive lineup of their well-regarded products that have been supported by industry professionals for years, most notably the versatile Socapex connector range.
Overview of the Sound Festa Experience
The Neutrik booth will feature a variety of industry-standard products, including XLR, SpeakON, PowerCON, EtherCON, and OpticalCON connectors. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a selection of new products, with the Socapex lineup taking center stage. This brand is particularly known in the entertainment sector for its 19-pin electrical connectors, commonly referred to as the "Socapex connector."
Socapex connectors are widely used in film, television, and stage lighting, particularly for multi-cable termination processes. The ability to distribute power to six channels through a single cable nearby the equipment is a significant advantage, making Socapex a preferred choice in many applications. Among the featured products will be the Socapex - powerCON TRUE1*6 breakout cable, designed for maximum efficiency and performance in the field.
Highlights from the Previous Event in Barcelona
In addition to the Sound Festa, Neutrik recently participated in the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) exhibition held in Barcelona from February 3 to February 6, 2026. During this event, the company gained attention for introducing their new product platform called the "Unicorn Platform." Historically, the TRUE1 connectors have garnered acclaim for being safe and reliable outdoor electrical connectors. However, Neutrik recognized the need for a more unified approach when it comes to using different connectors for power and data on-site. The Unicorn Platform aims to bridge this divide, extending the TRUE1 philosophy into the realm of data connections.
At ISE, attendees were able to view a mock-up of this innovative platform, providing a glimpse into the future of connectivity solutions.
New Product Demonstrations
Also on display will be the new DANTE interface NA-2I2O-DLINE, released in 2025. This interface includes two inputs and two outputs, similar to the earlier model NA2-IO-DLINE, but with enhanced audio performance. It comes with a thick rubber protective cover that is removable, allowing various mounting options, including tabletop, truss, or 19-inch rack installations.
The new generation of DLINE products boasts superior audio specifications. They can achieve input/output levels up to 24 dBu, with dynamic ranges exceeding 100 dB, and S/N ratios over 108 dB. Additionally, the crosstalk performance is impressive, reaching -100 dB at 20 kHz for outputs and -110 dB for inputs. Compliance with the AES67 standard ensures its immediate compatibility within existing DANTE networks, ideal for users looking to add line-in/line-out capabilities to their setup.
