Longsys Makes Its Mark at MWC 2025, Showcasing Mobile Storage Innovations

Longsys Shines at MWC 2025: Unveiling Revolutionary Mobile Storage Solutions

On March 3, 2025, Longsys (301308.SZ), a notable player in semiconductor memory, made a stunning entrance at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona. With a compelling theme of "A New Way of Storage Empowering Global Mobility," the company attracted widespread attention by presenting an array of cutting-edge storage solutions tailored for the mobile communication sector.

Tailored Solutions at the Forefront

One of the key highlights of Longsys’s showcase was its Product Technology Model (PTM), which emphasizes comprehensive customization capabilities. This encompasses everything from controller development and internal product design to rigorous testing and intelligent manufacturing processes.

Enhanced Mobile Storage Solutions

Longsys unveiled an entire lineup of integrated storage solutions designed for smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices. This includes high-performance UFS and QLC eMMC featuring the advanced WM6000 internal controller, along with energy-efficient LPDDR5 options. The products cater to a spectrum of needs, ranging from budget-friendly to high-end segments, providing all-around integrated storage support for mobile smart devices.

In an effort to push technological boundaries, Longsys pioneered the application of advanced 3D QLC technology in its eMMC products in 2024, launching the QLC eMMC with WM6000 controller. This innovation offers versatile capacity options, ranging from 128 GB up to 512 GB, addressing user demands for "cost reduction and capacity expansion" in terminal applications. The overall performance has seen an improvement of over 30%, while the standby power consumption has been reduced to micro-watt levels (uW), significantly enhancing battery life for devices currently in use across various smartphone models.

Next-Level Server Storage Solutions

As 2025 ushers in demands driven by large model technologies transitioning from probabilistic generations to robust reasoning abilities, the need for substantial storage in data centers and cloud computing industries is growing. Longsys showcased its server storage products, which effectively address AI server needs for large-scale data processing and high-efficiency computing operations. Exhibits included the ORCA 4836 NVMe eSSD and UNCIA 3839 SATA eSSD—engineered with 3D eTLC NAND and enterprise-grade controllers. These offerings provide capacities ranging from 480 GB to an impressive 7.68 TB, ensuring peak performance, stability, and data security.

Innovation in Personal SSDs

Among the standout products was the PSSD Bluetooth, which emerged as a highlight during live demonstrations. This sleek device combines ultra-low power consumption (just 1.5 mA in standby) with robust protection against shocks and vibrations. Designed with a high-speed USB 3.2 interface compatible with BOT and UASP protocols, it offers configurable storage capacities between 128 GB and 1 TB. Another notable product, the PSSD NFC, provides a unique approach to secure storage access using NFC technology, enabling users to unlock specific storage areas simply by tapping their NFC-enabled smartphones or devices, ensuring private data storage.

Mobile Imaging Storage Solutions by Lexar

In the realm of mobile image storage, Lexar—a consumer storage brand under Longsys—showcased its portable SL500 solid-state drive and the Professional Go SSD photography kit, meticulously designed for iPhone imaging. The SL500 SSD boasts compatibility with a wide range of devices while providing up to 4 TB of storage capacity. Its magnetic design supports the iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro series for seamless external recording of ProRes 4K videos without burdening the device’s internal memory.

Commitment to Global Presence and Localized Services

Longsys is continually enhancing its global footprint, with production from its South American operations center, Zilia, garnering robust recognition at MWC. By incorporating a dual circulation supply chain strategy, the company ensures efficient production, stable supply, and localized support for its global clientele.

As AI, 5G, and mobile storage technologies continue to evolve, Longsys remains dedicated to high-quality intelligent manufacturing and custom innovation, paving the way for smarter, interconnected storage solutions.
