The General Association of Local Government DX Promotion (GDX) will prominently feature at the 5th Digital Transformation and DX Promotion Expo (ODEX) 2025, taking place at Tokyo Big Sight from June 4 to June 6, 2025. This event will include a dedicated zone where GDX, alongside 18 supporting member organizations, will showcase a variety of digital transformation solutions aimed at enhancing local government operations.

The Special Zone by GDX


GDX has created a special exhibition zone at the event, where it will present a comprehensive range of digital solutions tailored for local governments facing challenges in digitalization. This initiative aims to introduce the latest technologies and services designed to tackle the unique issues municipalities encounter in their digital transformation journey.

GDX's Ongoing Efforts


During the exhibition, GDX will share findings from its "Survey on the Awareness and Reality of Local Government DX," which reveals gaps in digital transformation efforts based on municipality size. Challenges such as uncertainty on where to begin and insufficient resources for other tasks have been highlighted. GDX aims to address these challenges with a collaborative support model encompassing problem identification, solution exploration, system establishment, and operational support.

Enerlink's Innovative Solutions


Among the exhibitors, Enerlink Co., Ltd. will present its Energy Service Provider (ESP) solutions that facilitate optimal power procurement and management. Enerlink has established contracts with over 140 municipalities nationwide, focusing on reducing electricity costs and supporting decarbonization efforts. The company will showcase two primary business models:

  • - Evaluation of Power Companies: Selection of optimal electric companies based on diverse criteria such as power mix, pricing, and stability.
