Followfly Unveils Three New Commercial EV Models at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Followfly Inc., a Kyoto-based commercial electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is set to showcase its latest lineup of three new commercial EV models during the Japan Mobility Show 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight and the Truck World event at Port Messe Nagoya, both taking place from October 29 to November 9, 2025. With a focus on high-performance and cost-effective electric vehicles, this release is anticipated to draw significant attention in the commercial vehicle sector.

Background and Mission

Established in 2021, Followfly has been at the forefront of introducing commercial EVs to the Japanese market, primarily through its F1 series. As a company with ambitious growth, they have gained nationwide adoption, continuously enhancing their vehicles with advanced safety features and comfort.

In today’s environmental landscape, where sustainability is paramount, Followfly aims to not only focus on being eco-friendly but also on increasing the appeal of its vehicles to attract a broader customer base. By leveraging government subsidies, they can offer electric vehicles at comparable prices to traditional diesel ones, which marks a significant milestone in commercial transportation.

Strategic Partnerships

The company operates on a unique business model, where product development and local customization occur in Japan, while manufacturing is outsourced to global OEMs. This cooperative strategy has reached new heights through partnerships with major players such as the Geely Holding Group’s Farizon and domestic companies like ASF, which have substantial experience in producing light EVs. This collaboration aims to expand their offerings from light-duty to six-ton vehicles, allowing them to cater to a diverse range of logistics needs and further penetrate the EV segment of last-mile delivery services.
