Aichi GX Acceleration Program 2025 Seeks Innovative Startups in Green Transformation

Aichi GX Acceleration Program 2025: A Gateway for Startups

The Aichi GX Acceleration Program, initiated by the CIC Institute, aims to foster collaborations between pre-seed and seed startups focusing on green transformation (GX) and local businesses in Aichi Prefecture. This program will support innovative startups that are eager to make their mark in the global market. Starting in 2025, eligible startups can expect comprehensive growth assistance, alongside matching opportunities and support for pilot projects with Aichi businesses.

CIC Institute, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is well-versed in aiding deep-tech startups and boasts a strong network through its Environmental Energy Innovation Community. With the launching of this program, the focus will be on providing tailored support to meet the specific needs of participating enterprises, leveraging its expertise and resources for the benefit of the startups involved.

Program Overview and Goals

The main objective of the Aichi GX Acceleration Program is to encourage the development of startups within the GX space. By merging the capabilities of Aichi’s unique local resources and those of emerging businesses, the program seeks to drive innovation and create new industries while promoting open innovation.

GX, or Green Transformation, refers to the shift from a fossil fuel-driven economy to a clean energy-centric structure, aiming for a comprehensive transformation of economic and social systems. This initiative aligns with Aichi Prefecture's vision of creating a robust startup ecosystem that integrates manufacturing and green innovations.
