Comodo Design Sponsors the Bud Brand Award 2025 for Emerging Creators

Comodo Design Partners with Bud Brand for Innovative Young Creators



Comodo Design is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Bud Brand Award 2025, a prestigious initiative dedicated to fostering the creativity of next-generation designers. Organized by the Japan Design Bank since 2016, Bud Brand aims to promote the works of young creators at the renowned Milan Design Week, offering them a global platform to showcase their talent.

Last year in 2024, Bud Brand made a significant impact by exhibiting independently in the Tortona district of Milan, a prime location known for its popularity among exhibitors during the design week. Continuing this momentum, Bud Brand successfully held the Bud Brand Award 2025, inviting submissions from over 100 talented individuals, including students and young creators under the age of 35. From this impressive pool, eight outstanding works were selected for display during the Milan Design Week.

The Tortona district has become synonymous with creativity and innovation during the event, boasting high foot traffic and popularity due to the concentration of famous venues such as Superstudio. This year, the area witnessed a remarkable turnout of over 10,000 visitors, eager to explore the diverse offerings in design and art presented by various companies and individuals.

Recent Exhibition and Report


On July 2, 2025, Comodo Design held a report meeting at the interior shop Fremtiden in Meihama, Fukuoka, where the successful works of the Bud Brand Award 2025 were showcased. The exhibition ran from June 29 to July 2, providing a platform not only for showcasing innovative designs but also for engaging the community with the creative endeavors of emerging designers. Visitors experienced the displayed works in an inspiring environment, reflecting the ethos of Comodo Design and the Bud Brand initiative.

The venue, Fremtiden, located at 1-10-19 Meihama Station South, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City, provided ample space for the exhibit, welcoming visitors from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM each day. Attendees were able to immerse themselves in the creativity and talent of the participants, gaining insights into the future of design.

Looking Ahead to 2026


In an effort to continue supporting young talent, Bud Brand is set to launch the Bud Brand Award 2026. This competition will offer young creators another unique opportunity to present their designs at the Milan Design Week on an international stage. The theme for 2026 is "Suspension x Living Items," inviting designers under 35 to apply.
