This strategic appointment marks a significant milestone in both Crochet's career and Radiance's commitment to robust legal governance.

A Proven Leadership Journey

Seth has been with Radiance since 2017, initially serving as an associate contracts administrator. Over time, his dedication and legal expertise paved the way for a series of well-deserved promotions within the company. In just five years, he evolved from a supporting role in the Contracts team to becoming an in-house legal counsel. His tenure reflects not only his hard work but also his innate capacity to handle the complexities of corporate law effectively. In 2024, he was named Vice President, General Counsel, prior to receiving his current promotion.

Responsibilities and Expectations

In his new role, Crochet will take charge of all legal affairs for Radiance Technologies, directly advising the company's Board of Directors as its Corporate Secretary. His responsibilities extend to overseeing regulatory matters concerning Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), ensuring compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and managing corporate law and governance alongside employment law, government contracts, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.

CEO Bill Bailey expressed his confidence in Crochet's abilities, stating, “I have full faith and confidence in Seth. I have watched him grow from a young lawyer into a responsible corporate attorney who exercises good judgment.”

Academic Credentials and Community Involvement

Seth Crochet graduated from Barry University School of Law with a Juris Doctor and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of West Florida. His legal journey is complemented by his active involvement in the legal community; he has served as an advocate for the Alabama Lawyers Assistance Program, offering guidance and support to fellow attorneys.

Additionally, he is a proud alumnus of Leadership Greater Huntsville's Connect Class of 2022. This program not only fosters personal growth but also focuses on nurturing leadership skills aimed at enhancing community engagement and professional development.

Commitment to Child Advocacy

Beyond his legal and corporate commitments, Seth has dedicated five years as a Board member of the National Children's Advocacy Center, where he previously held the position as chair of the Governance and Bylaws Committee. This highlights his passion for community service and advocacy for children’s rights—an embodiment of Radiance's values in making a positive impact beyond business.
