Kanesho Invests in Next Bharat Venture Fund-2

Kanesho Corporation has officially announced its investment in Next Bharat Ventures' newly established second fund, known as NBV Fund-2. This fund is designed to support entrepreneurs addressing societal challenges in various sectors such as agriculture, financial inclusion, supply chain, and mobility, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the next billion people in India. By investing in this fund, Kanesho aims to strengthen its connections within India's vibrant startup ecosystem while also seeking to create new business opportunities in the region.

Kanesho and Next Bharat Ventures

India stands as the world's most populous nation, and with rapid digitization and an expanding consumer market, it is expected to continue its impressive growth trajectory. However, the country still faces significant social challenges, such as income inequality and limited access to essential services. Next Bharat Ventures, a 100% subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, is committed to supporting entrepreneurs who tackle these societal issues, thereby generating social impact. The first fund launched by NBV in July 2024 has so far focused on investments and support in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and food processing. The launch of NBV Fund-2 is set to accelerate these efforts even further.

Kanesho has been supportive of NBV’s initial fund from its inception, offering personnel support and collaborating on business development initiatives. With this latest investment, Kanesho aims not only to enhance its human engagement but also to contribute financially to strengthen its relationship with NBV, enabling further expansion of its business development activities in the Indian market.

This investment aligns with Kanesho’s mid-term management plan,
