The partnership follows a memorandum established in April 2023, where both companies actively explored the viability of using marine vessels for electricity transport in the Kyushu area. This latest investment from Kyushu Electric marks the first instance of external capital participation in Ocean Power Grid, highlighting this development as a crucial milestone in their collaborative journey.
