Introduction

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting is excited to announce that the annual LuckyFes’25 will be held over three days—August 9, 10, and 11, 2025—at the picturesque Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. This year, the festival is designed with families in mind, offering a wide variety of engaging activities for kids, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.

Kid's Area: A Playful Haven

The Kids Area at LuckyFes focuses on creating a safe and enjoyable environment. A dedicated nursing and diaper-changing station will be available for parents attending with infants, providing peace of mind during their festival experience.

For slightly older children, workshops such as cork board creation and engaging physical activities like balance stones, hopscotch, and beam walking will challenge children alongside their parents, promoting teamwork and family bonding.

Additionally, the well-loved “Strolling Childcare Workshop” will return. While trained staff take children on an exciting exploration of the festival grounds, parents can indulge in the festival's captivating performances without worry. It’s an ideal arrangement that allows both kids and parents to enjoy their time!

Kid's Stage: Entertainment Galore

DISH JOCKEY

A truly unique experience awaits with the “DISH JOCKEY” hosted by NTT Docomo Studio and Live. This innovative play space allows participants to “create” captivating music by placing food samples on vinyl-like records. With 14 billion possible songs to be composed from 70 different sounds, everyone is encouraged to join in and explore their musical creativity while having fun.

The schedule is promising entertainment for all ages:

- August 9 (Saturday): DJ Dekka-chan (14:00 - 14:30), DJ Jetman (15:00 - 15:30)
- August 10 (Sunday): DJ Jetman (14:00 - 14:40), Play Instruments with Nursery Teachers (15:00 - 15:30)

Thought-Provoking Art Exhibition

A unique art exhibition will also be held in the Kids Area, showcasing a new form of art distinct from traditional “disability art” or “outsider art.” It features works created by two young artists with severe cerebral palsy, showcasing their authentic emotions and movements captured on canvas. Visitors are encouraged to experience this heartfelt art amidst nature. Attendees can also participate in collaborative workshops, sharing the joy of creating art regardless of age or nationality.

Seaside Train & Pleasure Garden

Hop on the Seaside Train for a comfortable commute between the festival site and the Pleasure Garden (amusement park), where families can also enjoy various attractions and the water play area during their festival adventures. Please note that the Seaside Train and attraction tickets are sold separately from the LuckyFes tickets.

Lucky Space will host public live broadcasting sessions across all three days, featuring popular personalities and guest artists, alongside live performances to keep the festival vibe alive. Major highlights include:

- Day 2: Special live guest appearances throughout the day.
- Day 3: Engaging live music sessions to conclude the festival.

Single-Day Ticket: Adults 13,500 yen, Middle/High School Students 6,750 yen
Two-Day Pass: Adults 24,000 yen, Middle/High School Students 12,000 yen
Three-Day Pass: Adults 35,000 yen, Middle/High School Students 17,500 yen
Free Admission for Children under Elementary School Age: Up to two children can enter for free per ticket-holding parent.
