Five Cities and Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi Collaborate to Promote Health Screening

On May 28, a collaborative agreement was signed between Five Cities and Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi, aimed at enhancing health screenings in the community. The signing ceremony featured Palsystem's Chairman, Aoki Yasuyo, who expressed the importance of creating a supportive environment where residents can thrive. This agreement marks the second such collaboration in Ibaraki Prefecture, following a similar partnership with Naka City. Under this agreement, Palsystem will provide gifts to individuals who are eligible for health screenings under the National Health Insurance program in Five Cities. The gifts offered include a variety of options such as a spaghetti and pre-packaged sauce set, toilet paper, and vitamin-enriched fruit juice, allowing recipients to choose their preferred items.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to bolster health management among local residents. During the health screening process, participants will receive a card informing them about the 'Participant Gift Program.' After undergoing their health assessments, participants can apply for their gifts using a form included with their health examination results sent by mail. All chosen gifts will be delivered directly to participants' homes.

This new initiative builds upon past collaborations between Five Cities and Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi, including agreements focused on community monitoring and child-rearing support. These past endeavors leverage the cooperative's regular delivery schedules to enhance community safety and create an environment suitable for the healthy development of children. By forging this new agreement, both parties are dedicated to extending the health and life expectancy of local residents.

Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi has emphasized its commitment to working with local governments and various stakeholders in order to foster a safe living environment for everyone in the community. With a membership of over 141,000 and a business budget exceeding 18.34 billion yen, Palsystem is determined to impact public health positively.

Overall, the partnership between Five Cities and Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi signifies a proactive step toward creating a healthier community packed with resources and support, ensuring that residents can live vibrant and fulfilling lives.
