Innoqua Partners with UMT for Coral Research to Enhance Marine Conservation Efforts
Innoqua Collaborates with UMT for Enhanced Coral Research
In a significant move towards marine conservation, Innoqua, a Tokyo-based environmental venture, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). This partnership aims to leverage Innoqua's unique Biosphere Transfer Technology for extensive coral research and experimentation in Malaysia. The MOU was ceremonially exchanged during the Sustainable Aquaculture Summit 2025, hosted by Leave a Nest Malaysia in Cyberjaya.
This agreement marks a crucial step for Innoqua, which recently established its Malaysian subsidiary, Innoqua Asia Sdn. Bhd. The partnership follows another MOU signed with Universiti Sains Malaysia, focusing on the conservation and regeneration of marine flora including algae and seagrasses, aiming to accelerate local marine research and conservation efforts.
